Who I Work With
I work with:
Individuals and families seeking independent representation

Local Authorities and social care teams
Primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings
Legal teams and case managers
Barristers

Independent Advocacy and Representation
Supporting clients in serious medical decisions, care reviews, safeguarding concerns, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and living arrangements. My goal is to ensure their views are represented with accuracy, empathy, and legal integrity.
Tribunal and Court Representation
Advocacy in Court of Protection hearings and tribunals, including cases escalated to the High Court. These processes can be intimidating. I ensure clients feel prepared, supported, and genuinely heard.

Advocacy Areas of Expertise

Instrumental in challenging the role of the Coroner’s Office when no known relatives or friends exist. Advocating for fairer aftercare procedures. Advocating during Covid-19 for individual assessments regarding CPR/DNAR best interest decisions and opposing blanket ward decisions.
Training and Education

The Mental Capacity Act (2005)
The Human Rights Act (1998)
s117 Aftercare and discharge planning
Serious Medical Treatment (SMT)

Fees and Enquiries
Advocacy and training fees are quoted following an initial discussion. This ensures you receive a tailored, accurate response based on your needs, location, and the complexity of the case.
To discuss your situation, please contact me directly for a confidential conversation. This initial consultation helps clarify how I can help, what the process involves, and whether advocacy is appropriate for your case.
